Installation
engine bay before installation
engine bay during removal (heat shield still on)
engine bay during removal
stock twin turbos removed
capped four coolant hoses caps
do NOT work (over time they get brittle, crack and leak coolant everywhere)
removed the top two nipples on the coolant neck and had it welded closed then
for the bottom two nipples I connected them with a hose, extended the heater
core hose, blocked the rear oil feed, and looped the hose to the pressure tank
hookup from near IAC to the wastegate vacuum reference; AVC-R NO port to turbo and COM port to wastegate actuator
required intake air hookups to PCV, charcoal cannister, and IAC (by Al Stanek)
getting closer to completion
custom exhaust lineup: mandrel bent pipe, cat + adapter, shown with rmm dp for comparison
before vpc install on left, after vpc install on right (notice how much it cleaned up the engine bay)
exhaust setup with flex section between wastegate and downpipe
finally completed
