capped four coolant hoses caps do NOT work (over time they get brittle, crack and leak coolant everywhere) removed the top two nipples on the coolant neck and had it welded closed then for the bottom two nipples I connected them with a hose, extended the heater core hose, blocked the rear oil feed, and looped the hose to the pressure tank

Materials required:

bullet

4 - 3/8" caps (vacuum caps) (removed due to leaks)
bullet

welded the top two nipples closed - pic

bullet

ran a 9.5mm inner diameter hose between the rear nipple and the nipple by the water pump - front, rear (avoids the pressure problem for vacuum caps)

bullet

2 hose clamps

bullet

M12 x 1.25 x 10mm (grade 8.8) - for oil block-off (had to cut a 20mm bolt to 10mm)

bullet

1 ft - 3/4" hose - for extending heater core hose

bullet

1 - package containing 3/4" hose connector and 2 clamps for extending heater core hose

Other materials required (some unique to me:)

bullet

1 - gasket for P-trim turbo to manifold
bullet

can use a Ford 2000 Powerstroke "Superduty" Diesel gasket (Dodge Cummins might work too) - part # F4TZ6N640B (requires one to dremel out the middle bar); perfect fit and *sturdy* gasket - $12

bullet

1 - stock gasket for exhaust manifold to block

bullet

1 - package containing 3/4" hose connector and 2 clamps for hose to IAC from intake

bullet

3 ft - 3/4"  heater hose for intake to IAC

bullet

2 - 3/8" x 16 x 1" (grade 8) - wastegate to manifold

bullet

2 - 3/8" lock washers (grade 8)

bullet

2 - M10 x 1.5 x 30mm (grade 8.8) - turbo to manifold

bullet

2 - M10 x 1.5 x 25mm (grade 8.8) - turbo to manifold

bullet

4 - M10 spring washers (grade 8.8)

bullet

2 - M8 x 1.25 x 20mm (grade 8.8) - oil return from turbo

bullet

5/16" x 18 x 1/2" (grade 8) - impeller housing

Still need

bulletremove fuel pulsation dampener
bulletinstall 2nd fuel pump?
bulletHKS Type S Intercooler - relocated overflow or A'PEXi FMIC
